Last Saturday our U14 girls enjoyed a fantastic road trip with a fantastic day out in Limerick, taking in the big match between Munster and Ulster at Thomond Park.
The girls left Aghadoe by bus at 12pm and the first stop was the Crescent in Limerick for a spot of retail therapy before heading to the South Court for fantastic food and the lads wanted to give a special mention to Jenny and Dan of the 'Off the Bone' restaurant who looked after everyone. The ice cream and brownies went down a treat!
The girls then departed for Thomond Park. The girls described it a brilliant day and 'unreal craic' and felt that the 'day brought them closer as a team' as they 'spent quality time together'. The girls were delighted with their tickets and their location close to the Ulster dugout.
A huge thanks to Fiona Landers for organising the whole day and to coaches Milo O'Meara and Ger Moynihan for travelling up with their charges along with the parents who enjoyed the day out.
Next weekend the U14 girls host Tralee/Listowel for a friendly match at Aghadoe - kick off is at 12:15pm. All support welcome!
