Our U9's landed back with a bang into 2020 as we travelled to Gormanstown College for the start of the indoor hurling leagues. This league is a great way to give the boys lots of practice at hurling and is great fun. A few differences where thrown at the boys in terms of a different sliotar (rubber), different hurls (rubber boss) and different surface (indoor wooden floor). All these small changes introduced new challenges which the boys rose too.
Some great scores, strikes, tackles and even a few twirls made it very entertaining for the many spectators on the balcony.
We hope that more of the lads will join us next week and look forward to doing it all again on Sunday.
