The club are publishing this article on behalf of a member to bring the local communities attention to an unfortunate incident on Beechfield Road at 5 pm on the 22/06/2020.

The members 12 year old daughter had just exited Beechfield park via the tennis court when she walked past a male in his 40's - 50's, dressed in black who was standing outside the park entrance. As she crossed the road she turned around to see the man pointing his phone at her and the flash of the camera going off in her direction. The young girl was obviously frightened by this and ran straight home.

The Guards where informed and searched the local area for the man. We would ask the community to share this information with everyone in the local area and if anyone has CCTV on their premises to check and see if they have any footage of the incident or of the male in the area. If they do please contact Crumlin Garda station ASAP.

Regards

Manortown Committee
