U17 ladies with strong win v Ballivor.
On a warm evening in Simonstown our U17 ladies got back on track with a strong win over a young Ballivor side. Simonstown were quick out of the blocks and with some clever link up play and well taken scores from the forward line they moved into a comfortable lead. With some well taken goals and points from Lauren Cooke before half time the Simonstown girls held a strong lead. In the 2nd half Ballivor came back into the game and posted some fantastic points themselves. With some timely interceptions and saves from goalie Megan Dowdall and strong teamwork throughout the pitch the girls pressed on and ran out comfortable winners and hopefully set themselves up for a semi final in the coming weeks.
