After a successful start last week against Cratloe NS, St. Finnachtas NS, Sixmilebridge have a big 2 weeks coming up as they bid to qualify for the knockout stages of the schools competition. The boys have had a great pre season winning the INTO 7s and the recent St. Flannans tournament and will be hoping to continue the good form in the Cumann na mBunscoil competition with 4 games in the next 10 days. Congrats to Cillian Rafferty who was recently named as school captain for 2024.

Meanwhile Kilmurry NS narrowly missed out on qualifying for the knockout stages after losing out in their local qualifiers after 3 very close games - the school team included many young boys from 4th class who no doubt will learn from the experience and put the school in a strong position for next years competition.
Clonmoney NS opened their account with a win against Stonehall and they now face Crusheen NS tomorrow and Kilmaley NS next week as they bid to return to finals day in the Park.
We also have boys in St. Aidans and St. Senans who are busy preparing for their schools hurling competition due to take place in the next week.

Best of luck to all our boys and their teachers and coaches in the coming weeks.
