On Friday evening Sixmilebridge and Kilkishen took to the Main pitch in Sixmilebridge for their round 3 game of the Division 2 Adult League. Kilkishen opened the scoring in the first minute with a goal from a free. Sixmilebridge were next to score with a point from Emily Reddan and then a ‘45 from Roisin O’Grady. This was followed with pressure from the KIlkishen side, with the visitors scoring the next 5 points.  Roisin O’ Grady was next to score for Sixmilebridge when she rattled the net in the 22nd minute. Four more points for Kilkishen left the half time score at Kilkishen 1-09 Sixmilebridge 1-02

Sixmilebridge got off to a strong start in the second half and worked tirelessly throughout this half to deny Kilkishen  any scores from play. Emma Stanley and Emily Reddan  scored two points each and Charlotte Chaplin added another point for the home side. Roisin O’Grady’s free taking accuracy paid off, adding another three points from placed balls.  Excellent work rate and effort from the Sixmilebridge side right to the final whistle left the final score at Sixmilebridge 1-10 Kilkishen 1-11.
